On Friday, June 18, Charlestown’s Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging committee held the community’s first inaugural LGBTQ Pride Walk. Residents, employees, family members and friends proudly walked the winding roads of Charlestown’s picturesque, 110-acre campus. Draped in colorful feather boas, tropical-colored tops and flower lei necklaces, the festive group waved multi-colored flags, a symbol of LGTBQ pride, and held up signs stating “Love is Love”. Charlestown is grateful to each and every volunteer and employee who came out to help fill the streets with love, laughter and support.
