Tallgrass Creek, an Erickson Senior Living community in Overland Park, has named Adam Dickson as its new Executive Director.
Dickson has served as a key contributor throughout his career at Erickson Senior Living communities, starting as an intern before moving into roles in health services, business operations and administration. In 2014, he was appointed assistant administrator at Oak Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Maryland and was quickly promoted to director of continuing care at Wind Crest, the company’s community in Denver. Most recently, he returned to Oak Crest, where he has served as associate executive director since 2018.
“We are pleased to welcome Adam to this leadership role at Tallgrass Creek,” said Chris Emmett, Regional Vice President of Operations at Erickson Senior Living. “His commitment to delivering high quality results and service, combined with a passion for connecting with residents and employees, will be a tremendous benefit to the entire community.”
In addition to new leadership, Tallgrass Creek will celebrate its 15th anniversary of providing active and engaged retirement living to Kansas City-area seniors this year, along with the grand opening of a brand-new independent living residence building, Santa Fe Ridge.
“I am thrilled to join the talented and dedicated team at Tallgrass Creek in their mission to serve seniors,” said Dickson. “It is an honor and a privilege to be part of this dynamic community, especially at this exciting time. I look forward to building relationships with residents and colleagues, and the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant community life on campus.”
Dickson holds a bachelor’s degree in health care management from Towson University in Maryland and is a licensed nursing home administrator. He and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters.
