Couple’s Move to Tallgrass Creek Made Easier by Erickson Senior Living ‘s Realty and Moving Services

OVERLAND PARK, KS (February 17, 2017) -- Janet and Bob Butterworth's move to Tallgrass Creek retirement community was made easier because the couple worked with Erickson Living's realty and moving services, which helped with every aspect of their  move.

By doing so, their former home, also in Overland Park, was staged to impress potential buyers and it was sold quickly for a great price.

The Butterworths used an Erickson Living-recommended real estate agent and received three offers before their home was even officially listed. 

"The real estate agent put the 'For Sale' sign in the yard and nine people came that first day," says Janet.

The Butterworths also worked with recommended senior moving professionals who helped the couple pare down what would work best in their new home at Tallgrass Creek. 

"They knew what they were doing and helped us make some tough decisions about what to take and not take," says Bob. 

The couple used an Erickson Living-preferred moving company that worked with the senior moving professionals to carefully place furniture in their new Tallgrass Creek home. 

"I did nothing," says Bob. "The entire process took two hours -- we walked in, and it was all together."   

A self-proclaimed volunteer, Bob has joined Tallgrass Creek's men's golf group, ukulele club, and men-only strength training class. Janet is also enjoying exercise classes.
