Long-Term Nursing Care Residences

Each long-term nursing care resident enjoys a private apartment with a half bath. You're welcome to decorate your loved one's space with photos, artwork, and other keepsakes that are meaningful to them. 

Suites include the following features:

  • All-private suite with private half bath
  • Private telephone line
  • Large picture window that provides an abundance of natural light
  • Basic cable TV
  • Individual thermostat for comfort
  • Locked medicine cabinet to create efficiencies in managing medications

Long-Term Nursing Care Pricing 

Long term nursing care is offered around-the-clock with the benefit of a private apartment in a warm, engaging Cedar Crest setting. There are two costs that make up your long-term nursing care package, a daily cost to cover services and support, and for nonresidents, a onetime Refundable Entrance Deposit that includes the following services:

  • Individualized service plan designed by a care team
  • Complete assistance from staff for activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming
  • Regularly scheduled registered nurse review and assessment
  • Assessment and coordination of health care services
  • Management of chronic but stable medical conditions
  • Assistance with medical appointment scheduling for on-site medical center
  • Medication management and administration by trained and certified staff
  • Prescription ordering by licensed and certified staff
  • On-site medical center physicians
  • Licensed nurses on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Incontinence products and care
  • All meals with snacks available throughout the day
  • Weekly housekeeping with personal laundry and linen service
  • Full programming calendar including, spiritual and religious services and events
  • Full-service hair salon available at nominal rates
  • Pull cord communication system
  • Basic cable TV service
  • All utilities
  • Gated community with 24-hour security

The daily cost is $573 per day.

The one time Refundable Entrance Deposit* starts at $119,000.

*As per the residence and care agreement.

A: Long-term care offers complete assistance with day-to-day tasks like bathing, eating, dressing, and using the bathroom. It's most appropriate for older adults who:

  • Struggle to safely and adequately meet their own care needs
  • Have major health conditions such as diabetes, Parkinson's, COPD, or chronic heart failure, or are at a high risk for stroke
  • Live with advanced dementia or Parkinson's disease
  • Have physical limitations caused by a stroke 
  • Can no longer live independently after a hospitalization

A: Yes. Our long-term care rooms come with standard furniture including a bed, chair, television, and bureau. However, you're welcome to bring your own furniture and are encouraged to decorate the apartment with photographs, art, and personal items.

A: Yes. We have a robust short-term rehabilitation program on-site. 

A: The nursing team takes a modern approach to medication management with the goal of reducing the use of antipsychotics when possible. We use a holistic approach to care including programming and consistent staffing to manage behavior.

A: Residents have opportunities for individual activities like quiet reflection or reading, small group gathering spaces, and group activities like chair exercise, group games, and crafts.
