Local high school students preparing to turn their tassels were recently named Student Scholars at Cedar Crest, an Erickson Senior Living community in Pompton Plains, NJ.
Dedicated high school student workers are being recognized and set up for success through these four-year scholarships, funded by generous donations from community residents. At the Student Scholar ceremony on May 23, 34 student workers were granted $8,000 scholarships to support their pursuit of a 4-year college, two-year community college, or trade school education.
"We are grateful to our residents for their generosity, and we are grateful to our students for sharing their gifts with us daily," says Resident Life Manager Amy Wagener.
