Linden Ponds to Build New Independent Living Residential Building

January 4, 2017

Hingham, MA - With close to 97% of apartment homes at Linden Ponds currently occupied, and in response to continued high demand, Hingham's premier retirement community Linden Ponds is planning to construct a new independent living residential building, Willard Square.

"Linden Ponds' occupancy continues to rise and our expanding customer base has influenced our decision to move forward with construction of a new residential building," said Christine Hansen, Director of Sales, Linden Ponds.  "We are very excited to be able to announce the addition of Willard Square and bring the Erickson Living lifestyle to more people South of Boston."

Willard Square will be Linden Ponds' ninth residential building. The new 156,378 square foot 7-story building will add 104 new independent living apartment homes to the community.   In addition to many new open apartment floor plans, Willard Square will also feature additional common area spaces to accommodate the growing number of resident activities and clubs.

"Almost all of the apartment homes will feature at least one-and-a-half bathrooms, patios, stainless steel appliances and much more," said Hansen.

Willard Square is expected to open in early 2018 and will be built by Cutler Associates.

Many local officials attended the Ribbon Cutting for Willard Square.  See attached photo:
