Linden Ponds "Elves" Donate Handmade Afghans to South Shore Coalition for the Homeless

December 10, 2013

Hingham, MA --   Deb Graham, who lives at Linden Ponds, delivered 10 handmade afghans to the South Shore Coalition for the Homeless.  All the afghans were made by people who live at Linden Ponds.  She also dropped off six wool caps.
"This was a group effort," said Graham.  "All of the squares were knit by people who live at Linden Ponds and then Estelle Katz and Anne O'Malley, Linden Ponds residents, put all 10 afghans together.  Some people call us Linden Ponds Elves.  We just like knowing we are helping others."
