Linden Ponds Donates 1200 Pounds of Food to Hingham Food Pantry

Hingham, MA -- One large turkey and more than 100 people who live and work at Linden Ponds participated in the annual Turkey Trot at Linden Ponds for the Hingham Food Pantry.  
The residents and staff walked a mile or two at Linden Ponds and also donated bags of groceries to the Hingham Food Pantry.    More than 1200 pounds of food was donated by people at Linden Ponds. 
"Our annual Turkey Trot is always a big success but this was our best year ever," said Barbara Leary, Fitness Specialist, Linden Ponds.  "We collected 25% more food for Hingham Food Pantry this year and more people came out to walk this year.  Food drive bins are out in all the  clubhouses and both people who live and work here can donate.  Linden Ponds and the Hingham Food Pantry have a great relationship and we enjoy helping them every year."
