Greenspring to Host 11th Annual Turkey Trot

November 15, 2013

WHAT:  Greenspring residents and staff will participate in a one-mile Turkey Trot for four local nonprofits; funds will be raised to buy turkeys for SOME (So Others Might Eat), Central Union Mission, Gospel Rescue Ministries, and Southeast White House.  In 2012, Greenspring raised enough funds to donate 800 turkeys to these same four local organizations.  A representative from each organization will provide brief remarks; some will collect turkeys on-site at Greenspring.

WHERE:  Greenspring Turkey Trot starts at Town Center Clubhouse 7440 Spring Village Drive Springfield, VA 22150
