Ashby Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living community in Ashburn, Va.,  is proud to announce the grand opening of Orchard Terrace, an exciting expansion within its continuing care neighborhood

The grand opening celebration on February 21 offered community members the chance to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tour the new spaces, and learn more about the comprehensive services Orchard Terrace provides.

The new four-story assisted living and memory care building features 109 residences consisting of studio and one-bedroom floor plans, amenity spaces, and courtyards.

“The ribbon cutting for Orchard Terrace was the fulfillment of a commitment made to those who live at Ashby Ponds,” stated Tom Channon, Executive Director.  “Orchard Terrace will provide the continuum of care services to residents and local seniors, right here on campus, should they need this level of care.”

Amenities at Orchard Terrace include activity and programming spaces, family kitchens, living rooms, a library, bistro, restaurant, fitness room, sun porches, and an interior courtyard with a variety of features including outdoor dining, fireplace, and bocce ball. A rooftop terrace provides access to outdoor spaces for residents of the memory care neighborhood.

The architect for the project is SFCS Architects and Davis Construction is serving as the general contractor.
