Windsor Run Names Michael Wehrle as Executive Director

Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in developing and managing continuing care retirement communities, has promoted Michael Wehrle as the executive director of Windsor Run. Wehrle will oversee management and operations for the scenic 60-acre campus located in Matthews, NC.

“Throughout his impressive career journey, Michael has consistently created a culture where quality, service, and building strong connections with residents and team members are the priority,” said Kerry Jones, vice president, regional operations at Erickson Senior Living. “His management and operational expertise make him an ideal choice to lead the company's newest premier senior living community.”

Wehrle has been with Erickson Senior Living for 12 years and has served most recently as the Associate Executive Director at Fox Run in Novi, MI. Previously, he served as Administrator of Continuing Care at Ashby Ponds in Ashburn, VA, and Assistant Administrator of Continuing Care at Riderwood in Silver Spring, MD and Greenspring in Springfield, VA.

Wehrle holds an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Management, a minor in Business Administration, and a masters’ degree in Healthcare Administration and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Maryland and Michigan. He lives in northwest Charlotte with his wife, Angelica.
