DALLAS, TX---Tina Ricciardi, Director of Human Resources at Highland Springs retirement community, earned the inaugural Erickson Living Leadership Award for 2011.
The recognition was presented to Mrs. Ricciardi during the company's annual meeting in Baltimore, MD on November 15th.
Erickson Living, manager and developer of Highland Springs, launched an annual award to recognize director-level employees who distinguish themselves with regard to the Erickson Living Mission and continually demonstrate a commitment to the Erickson Living Experience Values.
Those values include respect and caring, diversity, friendliness and enthusiasm, integrity, responsibility, excellence and teamwork.

With 239 employees at Highland Springs, Mrs. Ricciardi rolled out a Career Path initiative in 2008 and more recently "Navigating Your Career," a company-wide development program.
A resident of McKinney, Mrs. Ricciardi has served as Director of Human Resources at Highland Springs since 2006. Previously, she worked at Seabrook, an Erickson Living community in New Jersey, as a Director of Human Resources for almost two years. She has eighteen years of experience in Human Resources Management with eleven years in the senior living industry.
Nominations for the Erickson Living Leadership Award were submitted by employees from across the enterprise, extending from Massachusetts to Colorado. Nominations and testimonial videos of finalists were forwarded to Erickson Living's Corporate Executive Team (CET) for the award selection.
