Highland Springs Promotes Humza Shaikh as Director of Dining Services

Highland Springs, a continuing care retirement community managed by Erickson Senior Living, announced the promotion of Humza Shaikh as Director of Dining Services.

Shaikh has worked at Highland Springs for nine years, starting as a student server and enjoying opportunities to grow his career through the years. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Director of Dining Services and previously as the General Manager of Dining Services for the community’s Magnolia Neighborhood.

“Humza has the trust and respect of residents and co-workers,” stated Matt Neville, Executive Director. “I am looking forward to seeing Humza continue to serve residents in a new capacity and continue to elevate our dining program as we grow. He is very passionate about driving resident satisfaction and employee engagement through developing meaningful connections.”  
 
Shaikh moved to the Dallas area ten years ago from his hometown of Karachi, Pakistan. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Business Administration from Longwood University in Virginia.
