Highland Springs Hosts Career Expo for Team Members

Highland Springs, an Erickson Senior Living community in North Dallas, hosted a Career Expo on July 24.

The Highland Springs Employee Career Expo, held on July 24, provided team members with information and resources to enhance and advance their careers within the Erickson Senior Living enterprise. More than 80 team members attended the event.

“The Expo was a wonderful opportunity for team members to access resources and hear real-life examples from their peers about career development,” said Matt Neville, Executive Director of Highland Springs. “It was rewarding to see the enthusiasm and team spirit on display, and I want to express my appreciation for everyone who helped to coordinate the event, particularly our Human Resources Department. Our team members make the future of Highland Springs very bright.”  

During the Expo, team members were able to:

•    Meet department leaders who shared more about career opportunities at Highland Springs and across the organization,
•    Hear from their fellow team members who showcased their unique career paths and provided tips for successful professional growth,
•    Learn how to access training and development tools, including support for gaining certifications, and 
•    Discover how to create job alerts for available positions of interest.

There were also fun ways to celebrate the day: career maps to accompany the career paths that were shared, raffle prizes that included meals with senior leaders and a day off with pay, and opportunities to get professional head shot photos taken by the Highland Springs AV/TV Team.
