DALLAS, TX---Highland Springs, the Erickson Living retirement community, announced the appointment of Patricia Swan as its Associate Executive Director.
In her leadership position, Ms. Swan will oversee the General Services Department as well as compliance and safety operations at the 89-acre community that is home to over 600 residents and 300 employees. Highland Springs features an independent living neighborhood of 436 residences in a variety of floor plans and pricing options. Its newly-opened continuing care neighborhood offers assisted living, memory care, post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care services. Ms. Swan has over twelve years of sales and operations experience in the senior living industry. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of First Colonial Inn, a Kisco Senior Living community in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
She has served as Past President of the Virginia Beach Task Force on Aging and a Board Member of the Virginia Beach Friends School.
A resident of Plano, TX, Ms. Swan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a graduate certificate from Cornell University.
