When Pam Emerson received a brochure for Emerson Lakes, an Erickson Senior Living community under construction in Lakewood Ranch, Fla., her interest was piqued.

"Even if you're unsure of the timing of your move when you join, residences will still become available to you before members of the public," he says. "That's a real advantage."

"We communicate with our Priority List members often," Fletcher notes. "We share videos from the construction site, floor plan design options, and other details to keep them in the loop with the latest information about Emerson Lakes."

In addition, members are invited to exclusive events, where they can meet and socialize with other Priority List members who are also determining their timeline and ideal residence.

"Meeting people who are experiencing the same process can be really helpful," says Fletcher. "It's a great way to bond with potential future neighbors."
