Following much anticipation, construction is now underway for Emerson Lakes, Erickson Senior Living's newest community in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.!
With maintenance-free apartment homes, top-notch amenities, and an array of activities, Emerson Lakes will be the perfect place for retirees who want to enjoy an engaging lifestyle in the vibrant Southwest Florida area.
"We're excited to mark the official beginning of construction for Emerson Lakes," says Adam Zubowsky, sales director for the community. "There's no better time to learn more about everything Emerson Lakes will have to offer."
First phase underway
Nestled on 46 sun-soaked acres, Emerson Lakes will boast multiple residence buildings, clubhouses, and stunning outdoor amenities.
CBG Builders has begun construction on the initial section of Emerson Lakes, which includes three residence buildings. The first is Sandhill Point, which will bring 105 spacious apartment homes to the community--opening in the fall of 2026.
The other two buildings, Laguna Springs and Mangrove Run, will open for occupancy in the first half of 2027.
Prospective residents interested in making a move to Emerson Lakes have joined the Priority List to hold their spot in line for an apartment home.
"Joining the Priority List is risk-free!" explains Zubowsky. "A refundable deposit of $1,000 is all that's needed."
Variety of floor plans
The residence buildings will feature 25 distinct floor plans, including one- and two-bedroom layouts, and the majority of apartment homes will have screened-in lanais. Some homes will boast bay windows, letting in lots of natural light.
There are five one-bedroom floor plan styles, each with one full and one half bath, varying in size from 812 to 1,086 square feet.
Twenty different two-bedroom floor plan styles are available, with one-and-a-half, two, and two-and-a-half bath options. They range from 1,087 square feet to over 1,800 square feet, with dens, laundry rooms, breakfast nooks, and dining rooms included in select units.
"We always tell folks to consider all of the floor plans and rank them according to their preference," Zubowsky says. "One may be to their liking, but another may be available in a preferred location or have the view they were looking for. At the end of the day, we want to help you select the apartment home that will best suit your needs."
Join in the fun
Initial construction also includes Coral Ridge, a two-story, 50,000-square-foot clubhouse. With a game room, card room, creative arts studio, and amenity spaces for meetings and gatherings, Coral Ridge will become the community's bustling hub.
For those who like to get a workout in, Coral Ridge will also house a fitness studio and a fully equipped fitness center that leads to an outdoor exercise area with a meditation garden. Yoga and fitness classes taught by certified instructors will be offered here--not far from the outdoor pool, which has three lap lanes and a zero-entry ramp, and the outdoor spa tub.
Coral Ridge's first-floor bar will be the happening spot for a light breakfast or lunch--inside or poolside--as well as a nightcap. Two restaurants, both with outdoor screened-in dining, will provide appealing views and more than 25 monthly entrée options. Water's Edge will offer cafe-style dining, while Breeze Point will accept reservations for table service and offer a second bar area for residents.
Outside the clubhouse, walking paths will run along the beautiful lakes throughout the gated community and link to other key amenities, like pickleball and bocce courts.
'Don't wait!'
If you're interested in calling Emerson Lakes home, now is the perfect time to join the Priority List!
"Now, members can reserve their desired apartment homes in the buildings they want--and lock in this year's entrance deposit pricing, just by reserving before the end of the year and remaining reserved until you move in," explains Zubowsky.
"We wanted to give folks an opportunity to reserve an apartment home and put a plan in place, as we anticipate the community will sell out quickly," he adds. "Even if you're thinking beyond the first phase of construction, which would be 2028 or later, joining the Priority List is still a good idea. You'll learn about how we're expanding, and you won't miss the chance to reserve your future home."
You'll also receive exclusive invitations to events and seminars at the Sales and Information Center, which allow you to learn more about the Erickson Senior Living lifestyle and meet future neighbors.
"Don't wait!" he says. "You don't want to miss out on this pricing and the chance to embrace an active, worry-free lifestyle."
