Oak Crest Rewards Hourly Team Members for a Job Well Done

Residents thank dedicated employees by contributing $365,000 to the annual Staff Appreciation Fund

Oak Crest, the Erickson Senior Living community in Parkville, Maryland, recently distributed $365,000 to eligible hourly team members through its 2024 Staff Appreciation Fund. This year, 817 Oak Crest employees received gifts. 

The Staff Appreciation Fund, made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, was distributed during special celebration events earlier this month. Combined with Oak Crest’s Day of Giving, the community collected items for local charities while team members enjoyed lunch and received their gifts. Staff members expressed gratitude to residents and shared their plans to use their gifts for vacations, home repairs, holiday gifts, and more. The gifts served as a thank you for providing residents with industry-leading services that enhance the community’s engaging, worry-free lifestyle. 

“The incredible generosity of residents who support the Staff Appreciation Fund matches the wonderful spirit of the season,” stated Mark Roussey, Executive Director. “In turn, our team members have earned this recognition for their caring attitudes, creativity, and diligence.
