PARKVILLE, MD---Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community, named Ann Marie Riehl as its Volunteer Program Coordinator.
Ms. Riehl brings a wealth of experience in the nonprofit sector, most recently with Chapelgate Presbyterian Church in Marriottsville, MD.
As Volunteer Program Coordinator at Oak Crest, Ms. Riehl will support and enhance the current programming calendar and create partnerships with organizations in Baltimore County and beyond.
In April, the Erickson Living campus presented the Presidential Service Awards to 231 deserving residents who qualified based on their contribution of time and talents to help others at Oak Crest and in the greater community.
In 2012, residents and friends of Oak Crest logged more than 86,000 hours of volunteer service in partnerships with organizations like the Maryland Food Bank, Our Daily Bread and educational programs with Deep Creek Elementary School and Buddy Reading.
A resident of Reisterstown, Ms. Riehl earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She supports the Baltimore Women's Classic 5k as a training coach and shares her time and talent with the Samaritan Women, Serve Greater Baltimore and Second Chance, Inc.
