Maris Grove Employee Receives "Leadership Award" For Demonstrating Erickson Senior Living Values

GLEN MILLS, PA - Maris Grove Restaurant Manager Dan Lessard was named a Leadership Award Winner at the Erickson Living Annual Meeting award recognition event in Baltimore, MD. Erickson Living is the developer/management company of Maris Grove.
Dan was recognized for his unparalleled management skills as his peers acknowledged him for his professionalism and leadership. Employees from across the Erickson organization nominated members who demonstrate a strong commitment to the Erickson Way culture and values. Of those nominations, each community and corporate department could select one finalist. The Corporate Executive Team then selected the winners.
"I greatly appreciate the national recognition and the opportunity to work for a company with such a special mission and values," said Dan, who is originally from Minnesota but now lives in Ridley Park. "Erickson has an amazing group of people working throughout the company, including at Maris Grove."

Dan started his career with Maris Grove in 2010 and began working in the nightclub/restaurant business where he learned the importance of good customer service around the Twin Cities area.
At Maris Grove he manages approximately 150 people during one dinner shift.
"There is an important philosophy in the food service business that it's not just a concentration on the cuisine we serve, but it's the experience that we offer as well," Dan said. "This profession is about the people and I often tell my family that I have a job where I can make a difference in people's lives."
