Erickson Senior Living Welcomes Taneika Herman as Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Erickson Senior Living, a leading developer and manager of continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), announced today that Taneika Herman has joined the organization as Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.

Taneika comes to Erickson Senior Living from Under Armour, where she contributed to the company's initial Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programming. In her previous role as their Global DEI Lead, she helped design, lead, and execute the DEI corporate learning strategy and DEI retail strategy for stores, and contributed to the DEI global corporate communications strategy and messaging. She also successfully built and managed relationships with diverse cross-functional teams and provided inclusive leadership coaching and mentorship.

Taneika resides in Catonsville with her husband and three children. She is an active volunteer with the Maryland Food Bank, Empowering Believers Youth & Young Adults, and Love is the Key Outreach. In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, and sports. She also values mentoring youth and young adults to develop and create access for current and future generations.
