“People are looking for more than a place to live in retirement. They’re looking for a community that offers opportunities to stay active, connect with neighbors, and enjoy peace of mind for the future,” said sales director Jason Guidi. “The sales and information center gives prospective residents an opportunity to see firsthand what will make Ava Lakes unique.”
Designed specifically for South Florida, Ava Lakes will incorporate extensive storm-resiliency features intended to help residents remain safe and comfortable during severe weather and power outages. Residential buildings will be constructed of reinforced concrete and feature hurricane-resistant windows designed to withstand severe weather conditions. In the event of a power outage, backup power systems throughout the community will support essential services in every residential building and clubhouse. Within each residence, backup power will maintain key everyday comforts such as air conditioning, hot water, refrigeration, and at least two convenience outlets. Community dining venues will also remain operational during an outage with backup power.
