September 20, 2018

Bell Pavilion is scheduled to open in late 2019.

On September 12, Lantern Hill unveiled plans for its newest residential building, Bell Pavilion. More than 140 priority list members attended the special preview event held at the Canoe Brook Country Club. Currently under construction, Bell Pavilion is scheduled to open in late 2019 and will add 169 independent living apartment homes to the Erickson Living senior living community in New Providence, New Jersey.

Bell Pavilion will feature nine never-before-seen layouts that all boast granite counter tops, upgraded flooring and open floor plans. These stunning new homes include special features like expanded kitchens, heightened ceilings, screened-in balconies, and large laundry rooms. The homes offered range in size from one bedroom, one bedroom with a den, to two bedrooms, or two bedrooms with a den.

The new building will add a brand new restaurant, fitness center, two bocce courts, courtyard with fireplaces, and the popular amenity of resident community gardens to campus. A climate-controlled walkway will connect Bell Pavilion to Union Square where multiple dining venues, an all-season pool and fitness center, medical center, art studio, library, theater, and salon are located. The community also has secure underground parking and concierge services. In addition to independent senior living, Lantern Hill offers assisted living, sub-acute rehabilitation, nursing care, and memory care in its continuing care neighborhood located on campus.

At the event, guests enjoyed refreshments, mingled with residents, viewed the layouts of the new building and an aerial video of campus, and met with members of Lantern Hill's staff. Personal Moving Consultant Jennifer Kohan offered information about Erickson Realty and Moving Services, a complimentary program for people moving to an Erickson Living community that coordinates all the details of your move.

"Demand for Lantern Hill is at an all-time high," said Sales Director Daniel Millender. "We are excited to have more homes available at our magnificent community so more people can enjoy our active and maintenance-free lifestyle."

"We can't wait to welcome new residents to the Lantern Hill family next year," said Executive Director Patricia Swan-Jacobs. "When you ask residents about what they love most about Lantern Hill, they say the people. Our buildings are beautiful, and the campus is lovely, but it is our residents and staff that make Lantern Hill a great place to live."
