Erickson Senior Living Names Todd DeLaney as Executive Director of Lantern Hill

Erickson Senior Living, a national leader in developing and managing continuing care retirement communities, has named Todd DeLaney as the new executive director of Lantern Hill. DeLaney will oversee management and operations for the scenic 26-acre campus located in New Providence, NJ.

“Todd is a seasoned leader whose dedication and expertise drive both a vibrant work culture and exceptional results,” said Melinda Dechert, vice president of regional operations. “His commitment to creating an outstanding resident experience will be pivotal in sustaining Lantern Hill’s reputation as a premier retirement destination in Northern New Jersey.” 

DeLaney started his career with Erickson Senior Living in 2005 and has held a variety of leadership positions at multiple Erickson Senior Living communities. Most recently, he served as the first executive director of Avery Point in Short Pump, Virginia. Before this role, he served as executive director at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, N.J., executive director and associate director at Seabrook in Tinton Falls, N.J., and director of continuing care and associate executive director at Brooksby Village in Peabody, Mass. He has also served as a regional operations manager for Erickson Senior Living at the corporate headquarters in Catonsville, Md., and as a project manager at Cedar Crest. 

He received his MBA in health care administration from Seton Hall University, a bachelor’s degree from Springfield College, and is a licensed nursing home administrator.
