To meet the growing demand for maintenance-free retirement living, Avery Point, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Short Pump, Va., is expanding its selection of residences and amenities with the recent opening of Wilton Crossing.
The new independent living residence building features 103 stunning apartment homes with a variety of one or two-bedroom designs, spacious 9' ceilings, and a choice of patio, balcony, or screened porch.
Wilton Crossing adds Avery Point's new amenity, the woodshop, which offers residents a dedicated space with state-of-the-art tools and resources to explore their passion for woodworking. Other new amenities unveiled in 2024 include the creative arts studio, multipurpose classroom, billiards room, library, and reading room.
"We are excited to offer more homes in our exceptional community, which will allow more seniors in the Richmond area to enjoy our active, affordable, and maintenance-free lifestyle," stated Executive Director Todd DeLaney.
"Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce the woodshop as our newest amenity, enriching our community's offerings and providing a platform for residents to engage in hands-on activities and unleash their creativity."
Earlier this year, the community opened Boynton Place which features 92 beautiful apartment homes and the new Fireside Restaurant.
