Woodleigh Chase Names Tyler Kypers as Associate Executive Director

Woodleigh Chase, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community scheduled to open in Fairfax, Virginia, in early 2024, is pleased to expand its leadership team with the promotion of Tyler Kypers to associate executive director.  

Kypers began his career with the company 15 years ago as a student server at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains, NJ.  Most recently, he served as director of finance at Siena Lakes in Naples, Fla.  Before this role, he was a business office manager and a community financial analyst at Lantern Hill in New Providence, NJ. 

“We are very excited to welcome Tyler to Woodleigh Chase as a leadership team member,” stated Will Nance, Executive Director.  “Tyler’s experience and expertise in senior living and healthcare have us well-positioned for success in welcoming residents to Woodleigh Chase early next year.”

In his leadership position, Kypers will support the day-to-day operations of the 46-acre campus, which will soon be home to hundreds of residents.  

Kypers holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the William Paterson University of New Jersey and a Bachelor’s degree in history from Montclair State University.  

Woodleigh Chase’s first phase of development will include independent living apartment homes and a clubhouse. Independent living apartments will range from 812 square feet to over 1,800 square feet.  Residents at Woodleigh Chase will enjoy a tranquil, green setting just minutes from the attractions of bustling Northern Virginia, including world-class shopping, dining, and universities.
