Erickson Senior Living has now begun development on Woodleigh Chase, a new community off Braddock Road in Fairfax, Va.

"Erickson Senior Living has been leading the way in retirement living for nearly four decades," says Alan Butler, chief executive officer. "We are excited to deliver our third community in Northern Virginia to meet the proven demand for our services."

An exceptional experience

Woodleigh Chase will offer a senior living experience like no other. A portfolio of modern apartment homes ranging from one-bedroom to luxury two-bedroom with den floor plan designs will be offered. Residents will enjoy stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, screened-in patios and balconies, as well as under-building parking.

Amenities including on-site restaurants, an all-season aquatics center, a professionally staffed fitness center, hair salon, theater, library, and game room await residents outside their apartment door.

"Opportunities for socialization are a key attraction of Woodleigh Chase," says David Taylor, sales director. "To be able to walk down the hall to get your mail, go to dinner, or meet with friends will be such a valuable component to our community.

"People also love the fact that Woodleigh Chase is right here in the neighborhood they know and love. We are conveniently located near shopping, parks, restaurants, and public transportation, so active adults are going to have a lot of options at their fingertips," says Taylor.

Woodleigh Chase will operate on a fee-for-service financial model, allowing residents to pay for services only if and when they need them.

A one-time 80% refundable entrance deposit secures an independent living apartment home for as long as you live at Woodleigh Chase. Should you leave the community, 80% will be returned to you or your beneficiaries. A monthly service package covers utilities, property taxes, maintenance, cable, trash and recycling collection at your door, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.

First on the list

Taylor recommends joining the priority list with a $1,000 refundable deposit and a $150-per-person processing fee. This will hold your spot and ensure that once reservations are being taken, you get first choice of location and floor plan design.

"By joining the priority list, you will also have the opportunity to get to know your future neighbors," Taylor notes.

People are encouraged to come to the sales center to meet the sales team and view virtual tours and renderings. Floor plans will be available ranging from one-bedroom to larger two-bedroom, two-bath styles.
