Excitement is building as Woodleigh Chase, an Erickson Senior Living community under construction in Fairfax, Va., prepares to open its doors in early 2024.
Situated on a scenic 42-acre campus just minutes from George Mason University, Woodleigh Chase is the fourth Virginia location in Erickson Senior Living's growing national network of continuing care retirement communities.
"We are thrilled to bring the engaging and affordable Erickson Senior Living lifestyle to Fairfax," says Sales Associate Arvie Santos. "We can't wait to see residents flourish as they leave behind the worries of home maintenance and focus on exploring the things that bring them joy."
High-end features
Construction on the first phase opening at Woodleigh Chase is nearly complete.
"Things are moving along quickly. Finishing touches such as light fixtures and appliances are being installed in apartment homes. Everyone is super excited!" says Sales Associate Nahid Young.
Open areas and outdoor access
The first phase of development includes the first two residence buildings, Fulton Landing and Stafford Glen. They will boast 261 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, each with an open floor plan and screened-in patio or balcony.
The homes will offer a variety of high-end features, including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, vinyl plank floors, full-size washers and dryers, crown molding in the main living spaces, closets with wood shelving, and underbuilding parking.
"Each primary bath will have tile floors that flow up the wall of the shower, creating a seamless look," adds Sales Director David Taylor. "Some of our floor plan designs also have built-in electric fireplaces, flanked with custom shelves and cabinetry on either side."
Woodleigh Chase will provide all the amenities and services needed to enjoy an active, vibrant lifestyle on site.
Emerson Square, the first clubhouse at Woodleigh Chase, also set for completion in early 2024, will offer an all-season aquatics center, fitness center, theater, hair salon and barbershop, classrooms, a library, billiards and game room, two restaurants, and a pub--not to mention the campus's outdoor bocce courts and dog park.
"The question I get asked the most is, 'What will the restaurants be like?'" says Taylor. "One of our venues will be a fast casual café where you order your food at the counter and then make your way to a table. The second dining option will be a sit-down restaurant."
For additional opportunities to socialize, Woodleigh Chase will feature a pub with a full bar and an outdoor patio space--perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or a cocktail with new friends and neighbors.
Stay tuned!
"Now is a great time to join the priority list," continues Taylor. "Joining the priority list provides the opportunity to reserve an apartment home of your choice, before the general public, and to take advantage of special perks like member-exclusive events."
