Wind Crest Residents Contribute $511,000 to Staff Appreciation Fund

Wind Crest, the Erickson Senior Living community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, distributed more than $511,000 to eligible hourly team members through its 2024 Staff Appreciation Fund. A total of 816 Wind Crest employees received gifts this year.

The Staff Appreciation Fund, made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, was distributed in-person during community town hall meetings earlier this month, where team members also enjoyed a delicious and festive hot cocoa bar. In addition, one morning, residents greeted team members at the gatehouse to the community, cheering for them as they arrived to work. The gifts served as a thank you for providing residents with industry-leading services that enhance the community’s engaging, worry-free lifestyle. 

“The incredible generosity of residents who support the Staff Appreciation Fund matches the wonderful spirit of the season,” stated Craig Erickson, Executive Director. “In turn, our team members have earned this recognition for their caring attitudes, creativity, and diligence.
