As a result of the heavy winds and rain currently moving through the region, Siena Lakes, along with tens of thousands of other area customers, is without power. Fortunately, our backup generator systems are working properly, and community leadership and corporate partners are in contact with Florida Power and Light (FPL) to report the issue and estimate restoration times.
Dining is operating as planned, there are no staffing issues, and the community has needed resources like food, water, and other supplies.
Community leadership continues to work closely with corporate partners, as well as track information from local authorities regarding the hurricane response. We are conducting regular checks of our residents, and we are also assessing the well-being of our employees, to whom we are very grateful. Property and building inspections are being routinely conducted to ensure the structural integrity of the campus.
We will keep residents and employees fully informed of our ongoing response.
