Riderwood Nurse Practitioner Julaine Harding is Appointed Faculty Associate sn the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health at University of Maryland School of Nursing
SILVER SPRING, MD (November 8, 2011) - Julaine Harding, a Nurse Practitioner at Riderwood retirement community, has been appointed Faculty Associate in the Department of Organizational Systems and Adult Health at the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
Harding works at Renaissance Gardens, which is the extended care neighborhood at Riderwood.  She rotates between the rehab floor and the long-term-care and assisted living floors. She orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays, diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions and prescribes medications and other treatments
Harding is certified as an Adult and Gerontologic Nurse Practitioner.  She graduated with a BSN from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio in 1977 and with a master's degree from the University of Maryland in 1996.
Riderwood has two Nurse Practitioners. The other is Eileen Gemmell, who is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She graduated from Loma Linda University in 1973 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) and from the University of Nevada in 1998 with a Master's Degree.
