Riderwood Appoints Nicole Walker as Director of Human Resources

SILVER SPRING, MD-- Riderwood, the Erickson Living retirement community, announced the appointment of Nicole Walker, SPHR, CHHR as the Director of Human Resources.
Ms. Walker has served as an administrator in Human Resources with Erickson Living, the manager and developer of Riderwood, for fifteen years.  Previously, she has worked at sister communities in Northern Virginia (Ashby Ponds and Greenspring) and Illinois (Sedgebrook).
In her leadership position at Riderwood, Ms. Walker will oversee all aspects of the employee experience, from on-boarding to retirement.  She will also lead training and development efforts and employee engagement strategy.  Riderwood employs over 1,400 full-and part-time employees at its 120-acre campus in Silver Spring.
Ms. Walker earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Florida State University.  She received an M.B.A. degree from Marymount University.
A new resident of Gaithersburg, Ms. Walker holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR).  She is also a certified trainer for Myers-Briggs.
