GLEN MILLS, P.A. – Former Philadelphia Phillies Second Baseman, and Pennsylvania native/current resident, Mickey Morandini will join residents at the Maris Grove retirement community at noon on Tuesday, January 13 to have lunch with them and talk good ol' fashioned Phillies Baseball!
Number 12 will be a featured speaker as part of the Maris Grove Talkin' Baseball Series, which is raising money for the community's Resident Care Fund that helps provide future financial support for residents who may find that they have exhausted their financial resources due to unforeseen circumstances such as long-term illness.
In addition to chatting about America's Pastime, Mickey will provide residents with quite the surprise! Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
This past November, former Phillies Shortstop and Coach Bobby Wine regaled Maris Grove residents about baseball.
Maris Grove is located at 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342. The luncheon event will take place in the Cardinal Clubhouse Catering Room.
