Fox Run Opens Windsor Terrace

Fox Run, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Novi, Michigan, held a ceremonial ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 1 to celebrate the grand opening of Windsor Terrace, the new 75,000+ square-foot assisted living addition to its continuing care neighborhood. The opening of Windsor Terrace is part of Fox Run’s multi-year plan to expand and enhance its existing continuing care residences, along with amenity spaces throughout the community, to continue to meet the changing needs of today’s seniors.

“Fox Run is proud to offer a full continuum of care for our residents, and our new building, Windsor Terrace, is a beautifully designed neighborhood unlike anything we have ever offered in continuing care before,” said Ashley Bulat, Executive Director. “Residents and their loved ones feel peace of mind knowing that our brand-new building will allow Fox Run to deliver our proven, person-centered services that help achieve optimum health in a fresh, modern environment.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in conjunction with Fox Run’s Fall Block Party, a celebration of the vibrant community life with food, drink and fun for residents, staff and guests. The event was attended by Novi Mayor Bob Gatt, the city manager, Novi fire chief, assistant fire chief, two assistant police chiefs, community relations manager, development director and councilmember, representing the tremendous support of the local community for the services that Fox Run provides to local seniors and their families.

The new building, Windsor Terrace, is located adjacent to Fox Run’s existing continuing care building, Rose Court. The new neighborhood features spacious assisted living apartment homes ranging in size from studios to one- and two- bedroom styles. Each apartment home includes a private, full bathroom, kitchenette, and spacious closet, along with elegant finishes and open designs. Private suites in companion apartments are also available, where residents can benefit from shared common space that enhances emotional well-being and socialization.

Common areas available for use by all continuing care residents include the on-site, full-service restaurant, family kitchen, living room, games lounge, fitness room, and media room; as well as outdoor living spaces including an enclosed courtyard with areas for quiet reflection, fitness stations, fireplace and bocce court, plus paved walking paths and gardens.

Throughout the country, Erickson Senior Living communities are known for their dynamic lifestyle, state-of the-art amenities and superior health and well-being services. It’s this commitment to innovation and excellence that makes Fox Run an ideal choice for retirement living in Oakland County. At Windsor Terrace, the experienced caregiving team develops a personalized care plan tailored to each resident’s unique interests in a safe and engaging environment. The new neighborhood offers an array of activities, clubs, classes and trips, along with a nurse on-site 24/7 for peace of mind. It’s the ideal lifestyle for seniors who value their independence and require support with daily activities like bathing, medication management, mobility and meal preparation.

In addition to its continuing care neighborhood, Fox Run has three independent living neighborhoods, with more than 1,000 independent living apartment homes, located on a picturesque 108-acre campus off 13-Mile Road in Novi.

Fox Run’s high standard of excellence for the provision of health care and commitment to meeting the individual needs of residents is well-known in the senior living marketplace. This year, Fox Run earned the highest quality rating of five stars from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The project’s builder was Brinkmann Constructors.
