Devonshire at PGA National Community Members Contribute $180,000 to Hourly Staff for a Job Well Done

Community members of Devonshire, an Erickson Senior Living community located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, recently made the holiday season a bit merrier for the community's staff by generously contributing more than $180,000 to the 2021 Staff Appreciation Fund.

The annual Staff Appreciation campaign is an opportunity for Devonshire community members to thank the hourly employees who consistently go above and beyond to provide a variety of services that enhance the daily lives of community members.

Throughout the year, Devonshire community members make gifts to the Fund by contributing to fundraising efforts.  Each holiday season, the funds are then distributed among Devonshire’s eligible employees, which include dining associates, security officers, maintenance workers, housekeepers, and medical and nursing assistants—just to name a handful.

At a festive celebration on December 6, community members had the opportunity to express their appreciation directly to employees. 

More than 180 employees were celebrated and received a distribution from the Fund this year.

“Thank you to our community members for their generosity and for recognizing Devonshire’s dedicated employees once again,” said Executive Director Brad Andrus. “Our employees do so much to make our community members’ lives more enjoyable each and every day.  The Staff Appreciation Fund is a wonderful opportunity for community members to say thank you.”
