‘Tis the season for cookies, cocoa, cheer—and recognizing staff members who go above and beyond for community members at Devonshire and Chatsworth, located in PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
The 2023 Employee Appreciation Fund (EAF), made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted community members, will be dispersed among eligible employees to thank them for providing industry-leading services that enhance the community’s engaging, worry-free lifestyle.
“I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all the community members who contributed to the fund not once but twice this year,” says Director of Human Resources Colleen Marchesani. “The relationships between community members and staff make Devonshire and Chatsworth the vibrant, welcoming communities they are.”
More than 270 dedicated hourly employees, including dining associates, security officers, maintenance workers, housekeepers, and healthcare workers, attended the second EAF reception this year on December 5. Everyone enjoyed desserts and signed a large poster board with a thank you message for community members.
Thanks to these meaningful relationships, Devonshire and Chatsworth culture is always this merry and bright.
“Our staff members show up with smiles on their faces, and that doesn’t go unnoticed by community members,” says Marchesani. “It’s their positive energy, in addition to their hard work, that helps community members thrive.”
