"Cheers to 20 Years!"

Peabody, MA – More than 300 residents attended the first-ever virtual Gala benefitting the Resident Care Fund at Brooksby Village, an Erickson Living developed and managed senior living community in Peabody, Mass. The special event titled "Cheers to 20 Years" was completely virtual and broadcast live to the entire community via Brooksby Village's own in-house television station, BBV-TV.

"In the spirit of celebrating the 20th year of our community, we offered a creative and unique alternative to our traditional Gala, to benefit our Resident Care Fund," said Brooksby Village Philanthropy Manager Maureen Jerz.

Residents enjoyed a deluxe gourmet appetizer platter, with wine, delivered to their apartment.  They were able to tune into BBV-TV to enjoy a Gala Reimagined program featuring an hour of wonderful music by the New England Tenors, produced exclusively for Brooksby Village.

"The musical program was taped outdoors onsite here at Brooksby Village on a beautiful fall day, and the program was emceed by Resident Services Manager Matthew Connery," said Jerz.  "It totally 'took a village' to bring this event to life, and we are grateful to everyone at Brooksby Village for all their hard work making this year's event extra special for all the residents."
