Brooksby Village Wraps Holiday Gifts for Operation Troop Support

Peabody, MA -- It was Christmas in July at Brooksby Village! 

More than 40 people attended a Holiday Gift Wrapping Party at Brooksby Village for Operation Troop Support (OTS).   They  also signed holiday cards.

"Brooksby Village does this event with Operation Troop Support every year," said Fran Gerrior, Community Resources Lead Coordinator.  "Residents and OTS volunteers wrap gifts in holiday paper while listing to music.  OTS then sends the gifts to troops overseas and to those in hospitals.   It's a wonderful event every year."

Brooksby Village is one of 18 continuing care retirement communities developed and managed by Erickson Living.  The scenic 90 acre campus is located in Peabody, MA and is home to more than 1700 residents.
