May 4, 2021

Brooksby Village, a senior living community managed by Erickson Senior Living in Peabody, MA, is now offering an Emergency Medical Responder Certification Program. This program will provide employees with the requisite training and certification needed for the role as a Security & Emergency Services Officer. Three employees have already completed the program and have been promoted to Security & Emergency Services Officers.

“The Emergency Medical Responder Certification Program at Brooksby Village was offered to give current employees an opportunity to further their careers,” said Charleen Archambault, Director of General Services, Brooksby Village. “Regardless of the employees' current position, this is a unique opportunity for advancement and a wonderful new program at Brooksby Village.”

Emergency Medical Responders, or EMRs, are individuals who have been trained and certified to respond to medical emergencies and provide initial emergency care until the arrival of ambulance staff or paramedics.

The program includes the opportunity to become familiar with the Security and Emergency Services Team, company paid training and testing fees, and the opportunity to become an Security & Emergency Services Officer at Brooksby Village.

Pedro Santiago Rivas, Gilberto Perez and Joseph Florance, Brooksby Village employees, completed the program and were promoted to Security & Emergency Services Officers.
