Windsor Run Opens New Independent Living Residences

June 13, 2019

Matthews, North Carolina—Windsor Run, a continuing care retirement community developed and managed by Erickson Living, announced the opening of its newest independent living building, Beech Hollow.

Each of the 101 new apartment homes found in Beech Hollow, from large one-bedroom to luxurious two-bedroom floor plans, features popular amenities such as open layouts, modernized kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and walk-in closets.

"Our goal is to meet the tremendous demand for the Erickson Living lifestyle in Mecklenburg County," stated Ryan Barkley, Director of Sales at Windsor Run.  "The opening of Beech Hollow caps a tremendous response by our customers.  Priority list members and guests have been impressed when they walk through our models or take virtual tours of floor plans in the Welcome Center.  As a result, apartment homes in Beech Hollow have reserved quickly."

Residents in Beech Hollow have convenient access to the amenities found in Woodland Commons via a climate-controlled walkway.  In the clubhouse, residents enjoy the convenience of three restaurants, an on-site medical center, fitness center, all-season pool, creative arts studio, classrooms and more.

"Customer input was a key element when we opened our clubhouse and initial two independent living buildings in 2018, and we did the same with Beech Hollow," stated Mr. Barkley.  "As Windsor Run grows, we will always be customer-driven as we develop floor plans and amenities."

He stressed the popularity of the custom interior opportunities conveniently found on campus.

"It's exciting to see our customers create their dream homes at Windsor Run, choosing from a selection of flooring, paint, custom closet options, window treatments and more," said Mr. Barkley.  "Our interiors coordinator helps new residents choose from a variety of options to personalize their space."
