Matthews, North Carolina--The team at Windsor Run has made great strides in preparing our dining venues for opening. Seating has been placed in the main restaurant, The Grove, and menu boards & televisions are up in the Woodside Café and Tavern 1879. To prepare for signature dining, display screens and other technology is being installed in the kitchens so that the prepared-to-taste, restaurant experience will be seamless.
Hiring has begun in earnest. "We had great success at our job fair on March 24, interviewing enthusiastic, qualified candidates who want to be part of our team," stated William Bremer, Director of Dining Services. "Our dining leadership team will soon be visiting sister Erickson Living communities for training and a first-hand look at the interaction between residents and staff."
In January, Windsor Run proactively sought input from future residents in a series of "food focus groups." Menus are being developed in conjunction of that valuable customer feedback, and once completed, will be presented to those residents later this month. "There are plenty of delicious offerings that we look forward to preparing and serving to our Windsor Run residents," noted Mr. Bremer.
"With these exciting 'mini-milestones" occurring each day, the Windsor Run dining team is working hard to ensure that our creative programs are ready for residents, employees and guests," said Mr. Bremer.
