Wind Crest Staff Sponsors a Family for the Holidays

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (January 3, 2017) – The Erickson Living Values Team at Wind Crest retirement community sponsored a Denver family for the holiday season through the Kidsgiving365 organization.

Social Worker Megan Strothmann and Memory Care Manager Nicole Gates met the family and delivered boxes of donated gifts. The recipient children and their parents were full of hugs and smiles.

Gifts included the following:

A Laugh and Learn puppy, stuffed animals, aBaby Einstein toy, a giraffe learning toy, numerous clothing outfits, sleepers, socks, shoes, and books. Also included were a bike, a Leap Pad laptop, a Ninja Turtle coloring set, Legos, a Mario Remote Control Car, an Angry Birds play set, a necklace, a bracelet, and a $100 gift card.

Kidsgiving365 designs opportunities for others to make a difference in the lives and communities around them. The organization is passionate about creating ways for parents to teach their children about giving, hoping to make charity and volunteering a natural part of their lives.
