Wind Crest Women's Club Makes 85 Patriotic-Themed Silk Flower Pots to Celebrate July 4th

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (July 2, 2014) -- The Wind Crest Women's Club today delivered 85 patriotic-themed silk flower pots to Mill Vista Lodge to help continuing care residents celebrate July 4th.
Twenty-five members of the Women's Club made the flower pots, spending an hour on each one.
The Women's Club, which is headed by Wilma DeBoer, is involved in an array of community service projects throughout the year, including the knitting of hats for newborns at Littleton Hospital.
 The club also makes greeting cards that are sold to benefit Wind Crest's Resident Care Fund and its Scholars Fund.
In addition, club members are  Meals on Wheels volunteers in the Highlands Ranch area.
