Wind Crest Residents Get Their Beer-Drinkin' On

October 25, 2016

HIGHLANDS RANCH, CO (October 25) -- Wind Crest retirement community residents Bud and Wilma DeBoer today reserved a shuttle and took 25 of their neighbors to visit their grandson Derek Peters' new business, a micro brewing company in Centennial called RESOLUTE.

Peters, who describes himself as an 'Investor Whipping Boy,' is one of the company's founders. "We come from various walks of life, including finance, engineering, and accounting," he said, "but we resonate as one around our passion for community, great beer, and even greater people."

The Wind Crest residents tasted the brews and "got their beer-drinkin' on," according to Wind Crest Senior Sales Director Jason Atwell.

And the beer they enjoyed is award-winning. One of the company's founders, Zac Rissmiller is an accomplished commercial brewer with a number of notable achievements.

Rissmiller, a self-described 'Beer Whisperer,' has won a Silver Medal in the 2015 Great American Beer Festival and 2014 Best of American Craft Beer Awards in the Hefeweizen category, and Medals in the 2014 and 2015 All Colorado Beer Festival in the Pale Ale category.
