Wind Crest recently honored 22 employees who have served Erickson Living residents for a decade or more.
"At Wind Crest, we are fortunate to have an incredible team committed to serving seniors," said Craig Erickson, Executive Director at Wind Crest. "The fact that we are able to recognize more than 20 members of that team who have been with us for more than a decade each fills me with pride and speaks to the strength of our culture."
Honorees included Erickson, Liz Elder, Beth Brandenburg, Mary Thorne, Rachel Lacharite, Mia Baca, Marla McLain, Christopher Corbett, Karen Lux, Lidia Mayagoitia, Felipe Marquez, Brian Remmick, John Pitzer, Angel Shols, Kim Kuhl, Marcy Kroonenberg, Georgina Ham, Jessica Encarnacion, Nancy Elder, Joseph Gain, Kari Adamski, Felicia Gonzales and Jason Atwell.
Attendees included honorees and their guests, direct supervisors and the Wind Crest executive team. Over dinner at Burton's Restaurant at Wind Crest, the group reflected on the growth of the community and company along with their own personal and professional development in the past 10 years.
"Our business is one of personal relationships," Erickson continued. "Working at Wind Crest is not just a job, and our colleagues are not just co-workers. For many of us, the residents and staff here are like family. It is these friendships and personal connections that give our work even greater meaning and help us achieve greater success together. Thank you for your commitment to serving this community and one another."
Many honorees credit the opportunities for professional development and career growth within the organization for their longevity. In addition to excellent benefits including tuition reimbursement, 401(k), paid time off, comprehensive medical benefits and more, as a growing company in an expanding industry, Erickson Living is proud to provide such opportunities and is committed to promoting from within.
