Bill Allen, an accountant by trade, carefully considered Tallgrass Creek's pricing structure before he his wife Mary made the move. "I looked at what it cost to live in our house and compared it to here," recalls Bill, who was blown away by all the money they'd save. Together, Gene and Marge have journeyed to 74 countries, and they're not slowing down. Their travels include everything from cross-country motorhome adventures to luxurious ocean and river cruises. Most recently, they embarked on a four-month cruise that touched six continents--a feat made possible because they had Tallgrass Creek to return to.

The gardens are a shining example of the community's vibrancy. What started as a dozen beds has grown every year to meet the increasing demand. Residents plant a variety of flowers and vegetables--and even spruce up the dog park with blooms.
