Tallgrass Creek Residents to Shoot Hoops Non-Stop In March 23March Madness Basketball Free Throw Contest
A March Madness basketball Free Throw Contest by residents of Tallgrass Creek retirement community in Overland Park, KS. The residents will shoot baskets non-stop to celebrate the NCAA Tournament success of their beloved Kansas, Kansas State and Missouri basketball teams.
Each resident will get five shots at the basket. The best shooters will then participate in a winner-take-all "Shootout" from different areas of the court. Winners in the men's and women's division will receive gift certificates and, perhaps  more important, bragging rights as being -arguably -- The Best Basketball Player in Kansas.
Friday, March, 23, from 2:30 - 4 p.m., at Tallgrass Creek, 13800 Metcalfe Avenue, Overland Park, KS, 66223.
Tallgrass Creek, which has nearly 300 residents, sits on 65 acres.
