Tallgrass Creek, an Erickson Living retirement community, welcomed the first residents of its newest building, Goldfinch Lane, earlier this month.
Goldfinch Lane features 78 spacious independent living residences with 12 different floor plans, including many of the most popular styles already enjoyed by residents throughout Tallgrass Creek. Outdoor spaces such as patios and balconies are available on several designs.
"We are excited to meet the demand for Tallgrass Creek's active, engaged lifestyle with the opening of Goldfinch Lane," said Blake Marshall, Director of Sales at Tallgrass Creek. "The response to this, our fifth new residence building, has been overwhelming and apartment homes continue to reserve quickly."
The four-story building offers deluxe appliances and finishes as well as upgraded lighting and flooring throughout. In addition to beautiful apartment homes, residents will enjoy under-building parking and a 1,200 square foot multi-use community room that can be reserved for resident meetings or personal gatherings. Goldfinch Lane connects directly to Bluebird Crossing, one of the original buildings at Tallgrass Creek, via weather-proof walkways on the first and terrace levels.
With a growing priority list of soon-to-be residents, the new residences at Goldfinch Lane are expected to sell out quickly. Since its first residence building and clubhouse opened in 2007, Tallgrass Creek has expanded its offerings to meet the growing demand from active adults looking for a new way to retire.
"We are thrilled to welcome our new residents to Goldfinch Lane and Tallgrass Creek," said Marshall. "The building further enables us to bring the security, ease and joy of retirement living as part of this unique community to more and more seniors."
The project architect for Goldfinch Lane was Lantz-Boggio and S.M. Wilson & Co. served as the general contractor.
