Riderwood's Robin Arnicar is Elected President of Cincinnati-BasedNational Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care
Silver Spring, MD (January 16, 2012) -- Robin Arnicar, the director of nursing for Renaissance Gardens at Riderwood retirement community in Silver Spring, has been elected president of the Cincinnati-based National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (NADONA) . She was elected by electronic balloting that  was concluded in late December.
Arnicar who has been in long-term care nursing for 25 years, was named NADONA's 2007 Nursing Administrator of the Year.
Since 1986, NADONA has been the leading advocate and educational organization for DONs, ADONs and RNs in Long Term Care (LTC). NADONA/LTC was founded by dedicated LTC professionals, and its board of trustees still consists of LTC professionals.
Riderwood, which is the nation's largest continuing care retirement community, has nearly 3,000 residents. It is located on 120 acres that stretch across Montgomery and Prince George's counties. It is managed by Erickson Living.
