Riderwood's First "Peep Show" is Now Underway - a Sure Sign That Spring is Almost Here
SILVER SPRING, MD (March 12, 2012) - A sure sign that Spring is almost here is the first Riderwood retirement community Peep Show, a contest now underway in which staff is invited to take their favorite candy - Peeps - and turn them into art.
Departmental teams are now creating all sorts of art using Peeps candies based on something that happened at Riderwood in the past year, everything from cultural events, technology, fitness programs, Wildlife Habitat work, movies, and more.
They have until Friday, April 6, to create their art from Peep Kits of 10 packages of peeps. Voting will take place during the week of April 9, with a panel of Riderwood residents judging the winners on Friday, April 13.  Winning teams will receive prizes.
The Peep Show is sponsored by the campus' Human Resources Department.
